Middle Software Developer

What you’ll do

• Implement strategies and prototypes from the lead's plan, end to end, in days not weeks
• Take analyst and quant prototypes (often Python) into production, preserving logic and improving reliability
• Build integrations with external sources: exchange REST/WebSocket APIs, on-chain data, third-party services
• Maintain, extend, and optimize existing systems

Requirements

• 1–3 years of commercial development at a middle level
• Rust (commercial or strong personal-project experience)
• Python or JavaScript/TypeScript as a second language
• Experience integrating external APIs (REST, WebSocket)
• Work from a task and a plan: ship what was agreed, on time, without over-engineering
• Able to figure out unfamiliar tech from source when there are no docs
• Can compare two versions of code, understand why outputs differ, and confirm nothing broke
• Daily use of AI tools, with the judgment to verify their output rather than copy it blindly

Nice to have

• Porting code between languages while preserving logic (Python prototype → Rust)
• Web3 / blockchain experience
• Non-product experience: bypassing blocks and anti-bot systems, scraping difficult sites, reverse engineering, automation
